Removing old PCB from CASIO ® Digital Camera; Model EX-Z40/50 EXILIM®
1. Remove screw from LCD top mount

2. Desolder Black and Red leads above LCD

3. Desolder Black and Red leads from right of LCD

4. Disconnect LCD ribbon cable from main PCB

5. Remove screws holding PCB
 
6. Remove button panel held in place by adheasive

7. Disconnect button panel ribbon cable

8. Disconnect lens servo ribbon connector from PCB

9. Disconnect USB interface connector and CCD connector

10. Desolder main power supply leads


Replace new main PCB
1. Connect USB interface connector and CCD connector

2. Connect Flash connector

3. Solder main power supply leads

4. Connect lens servo connector

5. Connect button panel ribbon cable

6. Reseat button panel

7. Replace screws holding PCB in place

8. Connect LCD ribbon cable
 
9. Solder black and red leads

10. Replace LCD top mount screw

11. Insert battery, wait 3 seconds and test unit
